Description
Start off the new year with the Cincinnati CWRU alumni chapter, as we offer networking with a twist of philanthropy at the American Sign Museum on January 22!
The afternoon begins at noon, with complimentary appetizers provided by Cincinnati COOKS! Each year, the Cincinnati-based Freestore Foodbank distributes 23 million meals throughout 20 counties in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. As an additional part of their outreach, the foodbank offers Cincinnati COOKS!, a free program that teaches participants the ins and outs of the food industry to improve their professional and personal lives. Freestore Foodbank President and CEO Kurt Reiber will be on hand to provide more information about the foodbank and its many tangible (and tasty) programs.
Then, tour the American Sign Museum. Located in its permanent space since 2005, the museum takes visitors on a nostalgic tour through Americana with its countless signs of the times.
